Welcome

Sheila holding a certificate won by her Beagle Forti

Beagles are trainable!

Sheila runs follow-on obedience courses in Boddington; a good way to progress the exercises you will have been taught in any puppy class, especially the Boddington puppy classes, which she also runs.

Sheila can help you on your way into UK Dog Sport & Tracking with your dog in an individual session, or if there is a group of you who train together.

Cocker spaniel training!

Chris can help you on your way into Agility whether for fun or for competition and is happy to organise individual or group sessions. Weather & daylight hours permitting!

Our training field is in a secure quiet location on the outskirts of the village.

Boddington Dog Training promote the use of reward based training methods and we'll be helping you understand how to use food, toys and praise as rewards. Whichever you choose has to be the best motivator for your dog to 'work' i.e. the one thing they'll do anything for!

Our aim is to help you have a happy & well behaved dog you are happy and confident to take with you wherever you want to go.

Your dog training journey doesn't have to end with basic obedience like sit, down, and stay, that is just the groundwork. If you would like to progress on to more advanced training stay with us and continue your journey.

There are many dog sport disciplines and they all rely on teamwork with your dog. You will find many competitions taking place regularly giving you the chance to visit different parts of the country and meet like-minded people.

Dog sports include such as UK Dog Sport, Agility, Scentwork, Competition Obedience, Rally, Working Trials, Hoopers, Mantrailing and more.

Personal recommendations are the best way to find out more with an abundance of information on the internet.
