Obedience Classes
We run courses for owners wishing to further their dog training beyond what they have learnt in puppy school
Follow-on Classes
For handlers who have completed a Puppy Course or who have adopted a rescue dog and want to start with some basic obedience.
Exercises we will cover include:
Collar, lead and equipment
Cleaning up and identification
Walk nicely on lead
Control at door/gate
Controlled walk amongst people and dogs
Stay on lead for one minute
Grooming
Examination of the dog
Return to handler
Responsibilities and Care
Intermediate Level
For handlers who have completed basic level obedience and want to continue with their training:
Exercises we will cover include:
Road Walk
Rejoin Handler
2 minute stay
Vehicle control
Come away from distraction
Controlled greeting
Food manners
Examination of dog

Advanced Level
For handlers who have completed intermediate level obedience and want to continue with their training.
Exercises we will cover include:
Road Walk at different paces
Return to handlers side
Walk free at handlers side
Extended down stay
Send to bed
Stop
Relaxed settle
Food manners

Classes are run outdoors in an enclosed field on the outskirts of Boddington village during the drier periods of the year otherwise we are in Boddington Village Hall
