Agility is a sport born out of show jumping with horses. It consists of a course made up of jumps, tunnels, "agility equipment" and weaves. The Agility equipment is an A Frame, A Dog Walk and a Seesaw.

The idea is to complete the course in the fastest time with fewest faults. Faults are accrued for knocking down poles or refusing a piece of equipment. If the dog takes the wrong course it is eliminated.

Agility is a sport for ALL, as long as the dog is fit enough to run and jump. There are breeds which excel at it, including Collies and Spaniels but that does not mean to say you can not have a go with with your Yorkshire Terrier or Great Dane and all in between.

It is fun for the dog, reward based on play and or food, there is no such word as NO in agility, maybe the occasional oops!.

Agility is open to all, those that just want to "have a go" and have fun with their dogs, to the serious competitor who wishes to get to Crufts or represent the country and we can offer tuition for all levels.
